iCopy (1.0) White Connector
the first iCopy that Qianli presented, it was simply called iCopy (1.0), was sold with a single board (which was connected to the base module with two white connectors) that to solve the problems of the true tone of the iPhone displays, supported models included:
True Tone Board iPhone 7 to XS Max
(Other functions provided for taptic engine, ICs using ISP pinouts (iPhone 6 to XS MAX)
iCopy Plus (1.1) White Connector
In the second version better known as iCopy Plus, no substantial changes were made, everything remained as in the iCopy, a second board was added, that of the batteries:
True Tone Board: iPhone 7 to XS Max,
Batteries Board: iPhone 5 to XS MAX.
iCopy Plus (2.0) Black Connector
(“Important changes” the shape and colour of the connectors on the boards and on the base module, the previous ones in white cannot be used with this new version)
At the end of March 2020, Qianli presents the new iCopy Plus 2.0, in this version the connectors of the board are replaced, instead of the white ones black connectors are used, more robust than the first ones and with a slightly different shape, nothing else is changed compared to version 1.1, the models supported by the two boards supplied are exactly the same as the previous version:
True Tone Board: iPhone 7 to XS Max
Batteries Board: iPhone 5 to XS MAX,
From now on, due to the replacement of the connectors of the boards and the base module, it is no longer possible to use the boards of version 1.0/1.1 which in addition to being white (instead of black as in version 2.0) are of a different shape.
iCopy Plus (2.1) Black Connector
At the end of April, a variant of 2.0 is introduced, the connectors are always the black ones, the boards are always two and are compatible with version 2.0, the only difference that is known is the introduction for iPhone 11, 11Pro and 11 Pro Max on the True Tone board, currently, at the date of this post (2020-06-11) this is the latest version available, below the supported models:
True Tone Board: iPhone 7 to 11 Pro Max
Batteries Board: iPhone 5 to XS MAX,
In summary, versions 1.0 and 1.1 use the same connectors
Versions 2.0 and 2.1 use the same connectors,
The white V1.0/1.1 connectors are not compatible with the black V.2.0/2.1 connectors and vice versa
